Description

Isobutane is a colorless, odorless isomer of butane. It has a weak petrol odor. Isobutane gas is heavier than air. It is also a LPG or liquified petroleum gas like butane and propane.

DANGER: Isobutane is a flammable gas and a dangerous fire hazard. Isobutane can affect you when inhaled. Isobutane vapor can irritate and burn the skin and eyes. Contact with the liquid can cause frostbite. Inhaling Isobutane can irritate the nose and throat. Exposure to high concentrations can cause dizziness, lightheadedness, irregular heartbeat and passing out. Very high levels can cause suffocation from lack of oxygen with loss of consciousness, convulsions, coma and death.
